Works fine, until the temperature outside falls out of range (preset to 36 degrees) then it beeeps and beeepes and beeeepes at you. Cannot reset no matter what I do. Fun little wake up calls in the middle of the night “yooohooo, it’s cold outside” - yea, no kidding that’s why I’m tucked in my warm bed - now leave me alone.

OREGON SCIENTIFIC RAR232 Slender Thermometer with Clock If you need to know the indoor and outdoor temperature plus the time at a glance but are really pressed for space, the Oregon Scientific RAR232 Wireless Weather Station is an excellent choice. At just over 2 inches wide and 4 inches tall, this is one weather and time instrument that will fit just about anywhere. Hang it on a wall, or attach the included stand and place it on a desk, shelf, or table. With high-tech styling like many larger weather stations, the RAR232 has a silver front panel with black sides and back. This station displays the indoor temperature plus the outdoor (or remote) temperature from a location up to 100 feet (30 meters) away. It also stores maximum and minimum temperatures–both indoor and outdoor–in memory, and these are available at the push of a button. Rounding out this station’s generous feature complement is a precision digital quartz clock (not an “atomic” clock) with calendar and alarm. A THR268 wireless remote temperature sensor/transmitter is included with the RAR232. This particular remote has its own LCD display that shows the temperature locally. You can attach an included mounting bracket to hang the THR268 on a wall, or you can install the included wire stand to place this remote on a flat surface A kinetic wave display in the top line of the RAR232’s LCD panel lets you know whether or not signal reception from the remote is occurring properly.
