American Crew Daily Moisturizing Shampoo, for Normal to Dry Hair & Scalp, 33.8-Ounce Bottle Customer Review: The Preferred Men’s Shampoo
As others have written here, I have tried a variety of regular store-bought shampoos. And while there might be a confirmation bias in these purchases (”I spent more money therefore it must work!”), I can safely say that this product is the best men’s shampoo I have tried. After a few weeks of use, my hair is much healthier and shinier looking. It feels light and clean after each use. My most recent shampoo was Pantene Pro-V, which was one of the better regular shampoos I have tried, however, the American Crew leaves that far behind. It has a great, masculine scent without being overpowering. One caveat, I do have nut allergies and this product does contain coconut oil (I am slightly allergic to coconut; can’t eat Mounds bars or the like). However, I have not experienced any problems at all. I think if I avoid ingesting it, I should be fine. Overall, it’s a fantastic daily shampoo on par with those you that are used in salons. The price per oz. makes it a very solid value as well. Would that the shampoo was packaged in a two pack as with the conditioner, however.

I was given a sample of this shampoo. After using the normal brands, like Head and Shoulders and Suave, this was way better. It really feels like its refreshing my hair, and it doesn’t need to use as much as the other brands.

This product does a great job on soaking up the grease if you don’t want to wash it again. It smells great and gives your hair instant lift. It’s very different from B&B hair powder though, its finer and doesn’t spary on. It doesn’t alter the texture the B&B hair powder does. If you’re only looking to soak up the grease, this is the one!

I tried the blonde powder for the first time, and just loved it. I have used the bumble and bumble hair powder spray before, and this product is much easier to travel with, and it is “less heavy” on your scalp than the bumble spray. It also smells great, which is a plus. I’m definitely excited to have found this product to extend the time between expensive hair coloring appointments!

I am so excited about this product!! My hair looks wonderful! I have been using the shampoo for a little over two weeks. I read the first review and decided I should try it. I am so happy I did! I ordered the entire kit. However, I have only used the serum in my hair one time. I like the shampoo so very much and, I haven’t had a bad hair day since using this product. My hair has stopped falling out. I do lose a tiny amount in my hair brush, some loss is normal. Fallout should equal hair growth. I can’t say I am growing new hair. I can say that the shampoo has dramatically changed the quality/appearance of my hair. My husband is very impressed. He told me today to buy a case. If you are struggling with fine thin hair, this is the product for you!!! I don’t even use conditioner or mouse. I wash and blow dry. I feel this product is an answer to prayer. Thank you VICHY!!!!! I do use the shampoo daily. I let it sit in my hair for at least 4 minutes; sometimes longer if I am relaxing in the tub. I haven’t noticed any side effects from this product. I am a person who is sensitive to everything! Try this shampoo!!!! Then please write a review too! I want everyone to know there is hope!!

I have never written a reveiw on a product before now. But I felt an obligation to all who may be searching for a solution for their hair loss. As a woman in her mid 40’s I was seeing my hair thinning, and more and more hair loss with each washing. I was getting really concerned and went to a dermatologist who told me not to worry because it is all part of aging. But I wasn’t going to rest that easy! After much research, I came across this wonderful product. I only use the shampoo, because it seemed to do the trick all by itself, but I imagine the other products work very well too. I have used Dercos shampoo faithfully now for 2+ years - and it has completely stopped my hair from falling out, and restored a luster I haven’t had in years. I highly recommend this to anyone who has fears of hair loss. Thank you Vichy, for providing this product. And hopefully, one day it will be on the shelves in the U.S.!
