Every tool is individually tested to 1000 volts at the end of the manufacturing cycle. After the most vulnerable part of the tool is penetrated, no breakdown or flashover should occur when 5000 volts are applied for three minutes. After the tool is heated 158 degrees Fahrenheit and 110 pounds of force are applied, the sheath and guard should remain bonded to the metal. Appear at first use to be well made tools. Not the same fit-n-finish I have come to expect from this well respected tool manufacturer however. Several of the sockets appear to have been dipped in the chrome finish and have apparent globs of material in the corners of the splines. Not sure that those spots will break away cleanly or will cause future issues getting the socket into use but time will tell….they will eventually be used on a fastener they are sized to fit.
