I have used these diapers for several weeks now and absolutely love them. I had been using the Indian premie-sized prefolds, but my son is now big enough to fit into these small Chinese prefolds. There is definitely a difference between them. The unbleached CPSs are more absorbant and hide stains better than the bleached IPFs, but the IPFs are softer. I use my prefolds with both Bummis and Thirsties covers. These CPFs are a little more bulky than the IPFs, but still fit under the covers and do their job.

Customer Review: Great Coffee
I purchased the Javastudio coffeemaker as a replacement for a Mr. Coffee and I have been very pleased with the coffee it makes. There has been no change in the amount of coffee needed to brew the same amount of brewed coffee as with the Mr. Coffee. I always prewarm the carafe with hot water and use a separate pitcher to fill the coffeemaker. I have used the coffeemaker daily for a couple of weeks and have never had any problems with the temperature, quantity, or quality of the coffee. (I also roast my own beans for the freshest coffee possible.)
Customer Review: Too Cool Cuppa
I gave it a star because a) I have to in order to review it, and b) it’s pretty. I have this coffee maker, or should I say coffee GLUTTON, in red. I refer to it as the glutton because it takes twice as much grounds to make half as much coffee! I have to actually fill the ENTIRE basket with coffee grounds in order for the brown water to have any coffee-ish flavor!
What a waste.
Also, when you fill the reservoir for ten cups of coffee, you get about 4 regular size cups of TEPID coffee. Tepid may be too harsh, but if you like coffee straight, as I do, you can drink it immediately after brewing. But, if you like creamer, as my husband does, you wind up with luke warm caf au lait.
While complaining about this to my mother, she suggested the water may not be hot enough to draw the coffee from the grounds. SHE WAS RIGHT! I microwave a cup of water to a boil and add half the grounds (what I would use in any other coffee maker), and allow it to steep, like I do in my french press. After 3 minutes, I stir and pour it into the basket, shut the lid, fill the tank to “9 cups” and brew as usual. The result: A normal cuppa! Now, the problem with the warmth of the brewed coffee is still unsolved, but this extra step allows for a well-flavored cup of java.
The machine has lovely features and alerts you at time intervals to let you know how long your brew has sat, but it doesn’t matter, because by the first beep–30 minutes, your coffee needs a jolt of microwave radiation!

If you want the INDIAN prefolds, call the BunnyBuryBaby company directly (800 218 9518) BEFORE ordering these from Amazon. I had added these to my registry and my mom bought them for me, but the CHINESE ones showed up at my door. I called the company. She said it was AMAZON’S mistake because their company only sells CHINESE, NOT INDIAN prefolds!! So I requested a free return label and refund to my mom’s card because it was a gift (which is exactly what their return policy states I’m entitled to), and she said they’d send me a shipping label and contact me back. It’s been 2 weeks now…and NOTHING. All of this hassle is why I say…Buyer Beware!! I shouldn’t have to pay to return them. It’s theirs and Amazon’s mistake, not mine, nor my mother’s. SO BUYER BEWARE…Please call the company first, before ordering or registering for these to avoid what I went through.

Customer Review: Brews an Outstanding Cup of Coffee
Swissgold is best known for their 24K gold permanent filters. I use one in by Bunn drip brewer because unlike paper filters the gold filter does not impair any filter taste. I purchased the Swissgold KF 300 to use when I just want a single cup but to tell you the truth it makes a better cup of coffee then my Bunn drip brewer. The reason for this is because coffee should be brewed at a temperature between 200 & 205 degrees. My Bunn brewer unfortunately only reaches a temperature of 190.
