I have been waiting for a system to be in the right price range and have audio sent through HDMI.
I got that and more.
I have my PS3,X-Box 360 and a HD-DVD player attached to the receiver.Just hit the corresponding button on the remote that you have that items HDMI hooked into and you are good to go.
I do have an Optical cable going from the TV to the Receiver and with this system I am in the middle of my favorite movies.
There are a good amount od sound schemes to go with what you watching ( Action,sports,music…) or you can set it to auto and let it set its self.

I have had this unit for close to 4 months now. One of the main reasons for getting this unit was the multiple HDMI ports on the back and the 1000 watt capability. Despite what many reviews say on here, the sound is truly amazing. While its not as nice as the Bose, its pretty high up their. Their are a few times when I hear noises through one of the side speakers and think its a noise in the other room. The auto-calibrate is bogus and the menu through the small lcd screen does get annoying sometimes, but overall its a great surround sound system for the price. I have the bass setting fairly low, and even then it cause some rattling with furniture in the room. I would not recommend this for someone in an apartment, as it can get pretty loud without realizing it (found out the hard way). The audio sync function is great for matching up with the TV speakers, as sometimes one will have a slight delay.

Bought it at an excellent price, way cheaper than the local electronic stores in town thanks to a sale at Amazon. Had it shipped for free and received within five days. The set up is simple and to the point. The manual could be improved. One note on the rear speakers; ensure you have the system set up for 5:1 or else the surround speakers (rear-wireless) will not work. This can be done at the set up screen by selecting Sound > Speakers. I have seen a few complaints on the rear speakers not working, and that could be one of the issues. My set up was a breeze and everything works as expected. The front speakers are really good looking and easy to assemble. The speaker wires provided are cheap, so be ready to buy new ones.

This powerbar is definitely a giant. I purchased this with the ISOBAR10 for behind my entertainment center/armoire use. The ISOBAR10 is perfect for that tight space and the plug angle being vertical. However, I decided to use the HTPOWERBAR10 instead due to how heavyduty the whole thing looks. I have moved the ISBOAR10 into my bedroom for my other HT setup.

I bought this for my husband for a present. Despite it being an obscure, unheard-of brand, this system was better than I expected as far as sound quality. I also really like that the speakers are small (about 4″x4″x4″), so they are unobtrusive in our really small living room.
The only con is really how short the wires are. We ran the rear speakers up to the roof, and then around the room to behind the couch. The area is only approx 10′x8′, and the wires barely reached. The front speakers didn’t even have enough lenghth to reach from the subwoofer on the floor, to the top corners at the front of the room (6-8′ of lenghth needed). But all in all, a great sounding system, and perfect for my budget and needs. In the future maybe I’ll get a higher quality one, but this is just fine for now.
