I love the way the Andis dryer looks and the little clock is perfect in my mad dash to get ready for work. I use a hair dryer almost every day and dont want to have to deal with plugging and unplugging or leaving it sitting around cluttering up my bathroom. I had used this type dryer before (in hotels) and found that it was very sensitive to overheating and will shut down for enormous amounts of time - UNLESS - you do one simple thing. If you run your dryer full speed hot (like I do) to dry your hair you MUST blow it out at the lowest heat setting for at least 30 seconds. Otherwise you may have to wait DOUBLE DIGIT MINUTES before the dryer will turn on again for styling. 30 seconds is the differnce between loving and hating this product.

As others have written here, I have tried a variety of regular store-bought shampoos. And while there might be a confirmation bias in these purchases (”I spent more money therefore it must work!”), I can safely say that this product is the best men’s shampoo I have tried. After a few weeks of use, my hair is much healthier and shinier looking. It feels light and clean after each use. My most recent shampoo was Pantene Pro-V, which was one of the better regular shampoos I have tried, however, the American Crew leaves that far behind. It has a great, masculine scent without being overpowering. One caveat, I do have nut allergies and this product does contain coconut oil (I am slightly allergic to coconut; can’t eat Mounds bars or the like). However, I have not experienced any problems at all. I think if I avoid ingesting it, I should be fine. Overall, it’s a fantastic daily shampoo on par with those you that are used in salons. The price per oz. makes it a very solid value as well. Would that the shampoo was packaged in a two pack as with the conditioner, however.

I was given a sample of this shampoo. After using the normal brands, like Head and Shoulders and Suave, this was way better. It really feels like its refreshing my hair, and it doesn’t need to use as much as the other brands.

Customer Review: Kerastase Nutritive Bain Satin 2 is good, but expected better
Let me start by saying that this is probably the best shampoo I have ever used. I have been using daily for about a month. For the price I expected more. I’m going to try another shampoo in the Kerastase line next (I’m impressed with this line!). I need something more hydrating and repairing for my damaged, fine hair. I pair it with the masquintense and get wonderful results, but after the shampoo I feel like my hair is not as good as it could be and really rely on the conditioner to achieve the results I want. You don’t need much of this super concentrated shampoo. The scent is nice. My hair is in the best condition it has been in years (I heat style daily, highlight regularly, and wash daily). I think this is a wonderful shampoo but I’m looking for something more specific to my needs.

Customer Review: There really is a difference!
Both my stylist (well known Dallas stylist) said we thought that most shampoos were basically the same, but there is no doubt that my hair is healthier and my scalp healthier while using this line of shampoos. There are a number of different options in the Kerastase line, which one you choose depends on your needs (flaky, dry, oily, etc.). But there really is a difference, and a little goes a long way.

I think this is probably a good product. I compared ingredients with other shampoos purchased at my health food store - a little less expensive but with similar ingredients. My sister tells me that this product is used by movie stars and the like and is supposed to be the best. I don’t see that much of a difference but of course, I will use it until finished.

I used it for the first time at my mothers house and wondered why I have never seen it in stored before. It made my hair so soft and silk and I have African American hair. And even when I was in need a perm it still made my hair soft and managable. I would buy this product no matter what the cost because my hair is totally worth it!

I love Redken all soft. For a softening shampoo it does not give you build up. The conditioner does make your hair incredibly soft. I have curly hair and live in Houston (read gross and humid) and this conditioner takes all the tangles out, relaxes my hair, and makes it insanely soft.

I have using this product for a few years and have found it easy to use, and it will last through several shampoos. Properly applied it leaves your hair looking natural without an artificial look. Follow the manufacturer’s directions carefully, because if you leave it on too long the more likely one is to develop some minor scalp irritation. Perform the skin patch test the manufacture recommends to help judge your sensitivity to the dye. You will need to experiment with the timing because if you shampoo off the dye too soon you will be left with grey hair. Also use something like Vaseline along the edges of your hairline as it will dye normal hairless skin. For some of you where there is more scalp than hair, you may to buy Vaseline in barrels… try to keep it on just yourself as it well stain counter tops etc. The key is to remove any excess quickly. The manufacture’s directions are good, and mention all of this. This is an excellent product at an very reasonable price. Give it a try!

This shampoo is great and leaves your hair feeling very clean and shiny. Removes old residue from other hair products and clean scalp. HOWEVER, my teenage grandson tried it and he has an itchy scalp and the shampoo burned, so I think it is not intended for sensitive scalp or scalp that may have irritation,broken skin, or eczema.
