The 8-peice version of these pans were rated a best buy by the most popular consumer rating magazine (CR). They may not be as good as the $500 set but most of us don’t need that chef quality cookware anyway.
Customer Review: Spend a little more to get better quality Calphalon
I’ve returned this set. The pans and non-stick parts seemed on par with Calphalon (worth the two stars), but the handles are designed horribly. There is absolutely no thought of ergonomics in this set–the handles are a not very comfortable and it’s basically like a metal stick jammed into the side of a pot. I shudder to think how badly my hand would hurt picking up the larger saucepan once it was full. I realize that I could purchase handle sleeves and pot holders and such, but at this price, why should i?
