Our flat iron broke after minimal use in only 4 months. Normally that would be a small problem, but the seller “Payless Beauty” did not disclose that the manufacturer does NOT warranty items sold over the internet. We would recommend buying only from a brick and mortar establishment.

This straightener is awesome and it is half the price on amazon as it is in stores. I had the regular chi straightener but my blowdryer kept causing all my lights to go out so I thought I would try this and I am really glad I did. I would recommend blowdrying or toweldrying your hair for maybe 5-10 minutes before you use this just because it takes awhile to dry when your hair is super wet but it gets your hair very straight. I use it with Chi Iron guard and Chi straight guard. I can’t believe how cheap it is on amazon.

I love this set! I have long, wavy hair that can get expensive everytime I go to the stylist. When I first received it, I had a little trouble because the blow dryer was broken, however, when I got it replaced, I was set to go! I washed my hair, blow-dried, straightened it and in a matter of minutes was done. Long straight, shiny hair all done by me!! The set includes a mini blow dryer (about the size of the ones you see in a hotel but 100 times better), mini straightener, few hair products (shampoo, conditioner, oil, and spray that also smell and work great), along with a cute, compact traveling case for it all. I love this set and would recommend it to anyone for the holidays!!!

I had used cheaper, $30-40 (retail price) straighteners before, and never had much success with them. My hair is naturally straight, with slight waves in the back, and I was still having to go over the same strand of hair 3-4 times just to get it to straighten. I was completely unconvinced that straighteners worked very well, but decided to try the chi after reading all the positive reviews. I have had my chi for a little over a month now, and absolutely love it. It heats up very fast, and I only have to make one quick pass over each section of hair to get it straightened. My hair is silky smooth after using the chi, and I have not had any trouble with drying or frizzing. The chi has not once “tugged” on my hair during straightening. The swivel cord is wonderful–you aren’t constantly fighting with a tangled cord. I also love the size of this chi. The 1″ width makes it very easy to straighten even your bangs, and it’s also very light-weight and easy to grip. Definitely recommend! It’s the best hair product I’ve bought in several years.
