i purchased this dvd when i got the magic lantern book on the 30D, and it is simply amazing. it is more of a companion to the book, and so helpful. the narrator is easy to understand, and the startup steps are easy to follow. if you’ve never used a SLR, or a Canon, this is a great purchase.

Love it, love it, love it!!!
I don’t know much about using a flash, but I read some directions, set it to ETTL and took some photos. The exposure was spot on, and the skin tones were just perfect!!! I’m quite hooked on how well this works with my Canon 10D and highly recommend it to others who need a new flash attachment. This one is slick!

Customer Review: Can’t go wrong with Canon!
I got one for my G9, and is exactly like the one shipped with the camera. May be little pricey, but it will serve you right for years to come. From what I heard, the generic batteries, although lot cheaper, have shorter life and even design problems meaning they will poorly fit in the battery compartment of your camera. And is made in japan!

I found this book to be an excellent source guide for the XTi. When I have a question about my camera, this is usually the first place I turn to not the actual manual that came with the camera. Its unlikely that one would ever get a better recommendation than that.
