The thing it came in says that it’s for both the “GameCube” AND the “Nintendo Wii” but will not fit in the Wii. I never thought of sending it back but I guess it might be too late for that.

Customer Review: what a waste
Honestly, I thought this would be worth it. But, a lot of other games I play require the wii classic controller. So, I could’ve just bought that and have been able to use that as a regular controller instead of buying this.
