We purchases the base which comes with satellite monitor. We have the base inside, the other monitor outside and bought a second for our wine cellar. It was easy to set up and use. It is accurate and we haven’t had any problems after a year.

This is a swseet system for monitoring the temperatures in 4 locations. I have the base unit in the study, one outside, one in the basement and one in the attic. The basement unit I use to monitor the humidity, as we have a lot of stuff stored there, and I want to be sure the dehumidifyer is set at the proper level. The attic unit I use to monitor the heat buildup in the summer to determine if I need to put in other cooling devices. The outdoor unit and the study unit have the obvious benefits. The system also maintains a perfect time that is set by the US satellite sytem, and so I adjust all other clocks and watches in the house to match this standard. I also view the base unit from time to time to see what the weather forecast is, but that is not its main use.

Customer Review: Best bang for your buck…
For the price I didn’t expect much from these speakers, and when I got them they definitely exceeded my expectations. I have always been a fan of Yamaha audio equipment and when I was looking for a decent (cheap) set of 5.1 speakers for my Onkyo SR606 I came across this set and thought I’d give them a try. Much to my pleasure they work great! I am only using 3.1 right now but the sound is far superior to any pre-packaged HTS that I have looked at.

The light has a decent throw, it has as spot of about 10 ft around at 50 ft. After 50 ft the led just doesn’t give alot of light. The Luxeon LED falls about halfway between a high powered Xenon and a regular LED. It still has a little bit of blue mudiness in the light. A little clunky with the 3AA length. If you buy it for the battery saving capabilities, then you have the right flashlight. If you need perfect white, and distance, go with a Xenon. This light is perfect for any close-range use, indoor use, camping, etc. I would buy another one.

Tried it out as soon as UPS delivered it and was amazed what it did to the cubed ice I put in it. It blendes like magic! Do not pass this one. Not as loud as people say either.

I have now had this blender for a few years and love the simple design…I don’t like the newer style of blender that has the big bottom jar going over the base instead of into it, even though that design probably provides more stability.

Customer Review: Made a mistake
I am on my third machine in 10 months. The first two leaked water, and on this one, the coffee side heating element is broke and it will not brew. I am trying to decide if it is worth paying postage and waiting for the service center to get the machine repaired. It seems the Service Center could care less if they repair the machine. Previously, I had to call Krups directly to get the service Center to respond. I bought this machine because of the “Krups” quality name, boy did I make a mistake. When the machine worked it did produce good coffee and expresso, but is not very dependable.
